The type of business is a dental practice. There was no sale of a property. The note created is a straight loan. The note is secured by all the assets of the business and the dentist's corporate and personal income. The dentist earned $368,000 in 2008 and can easily make the $2,070.16 monthly payment. The dentist needed quick cash and created the note. This $100,000 note pays out $73,893.44 in total interest over the 84 month term. The interest rate is 17.99% and there is a prepayment penalty clause which states that all the interest is to be paid, whether it takes 7 years to pay off the note or 7 days.
